There are three options you have to reinstate your credential. See the chart below.

How much will it cost to reinstate my credential once it has lapsed?
Answer:
The fees include a $380.00 reinstatement fee and a $300.00 late fee. Total cost to reinstate your credential will be $680.00. Refer to the WCC Candidate Exam Handbook for complete details.

What are my payment options?
Answer:
Full payment is required at the time of application. The preferred payment method is a credit card. You can also pay by mailing a check or money order.

How do I apply to reinstate my lapsed credential?
Answer:
Complete the application including your credit care payment information. Click the APPLY ONLINE link or click the blue Apply Online button at the top of the homepage. After you register, choose the WCC exam certification application. You may also complete the application in the WCC Candidate Exam Handbook and email a copy to admin@nawccb.org

If you are using continuing education contact hours, complete the Continuing Education Verification Form. Save the form and attach it to an email to admin@nawccb.org. You may also print it and mail the form with the application.

Where can I take the exam?
Answer:
Prometric Testing Centers or Live Remote Proctoring. These computerized testing facilities are located across the USA. Click here for Prometric locations. Live Remote Proctoring is completed from your home or the location of your choice using your own computer.

What happens if I take the exam and I don’t pass?
Answer:
You may retake the exam up to three more times within two (2) years of your lapsed credential.
Question:
How do I know if my contact hours will be approved?
Answer:
Your contact hours must be related to skin and wound care. The educational courses must be accredited by ANCC® or your State Board. You can list your contact hours on the Continuing Education Verification Record. The contact hours are reviewed by the registration office and our Executive Director.
